Now granted, I do suppose it's possible that some of you may be wondering why Hitchens Watch would go to such lengths to highlight this issue, so let me put any confusion out there to rest. We are doing this
solely because of how it reflects on Hitchens' poor judgment. That's it. We assure you that it's not for any other ulterior motive. Honestly, it's not like we're trying to imply anything or subtly implant a certain idea into your head or something. Don't be ridiculous. The American people just want answers, and are entirely justified in expressing outrage over these frightening associations that Hitchens has willfully made. Our mailbox is simply overflowing with letters about this, all demanding that some honest questions be asked. We here at The Watch are happy to oblige.
So let's turn to the facts of the matter:
Christopher Hitchens more or less launched his career in journalism in what may have been a living room when he first met Arab terrorist Abu Nidal in the Muslim country of Iraq in 1975 (he even confesses to the "nostalgia" he felt reflecting about 'the terrorist I knew'
here).
Hitchens also has longstanding ties to other anti-American radicals which the pro-Hitchens Liberal Media have predictably refused to make an issue of, clearly in the tank for him. Note the refusal of the MSM (proof of their obvious support for Hitchens) to cover this story about his close relationship with Rashid Khalidi, a well known radical extremist Islamofascokimilsungist America-hating Israel-hater, whom Hitchens concedes "
has been known to me for some time." Khalidi is well known for openly supporting, being, and working with the terrorist Palestinians, a people who have committed naked aggression against Israel by defending themselves from their invasions. Israel is our BFF in the Middle East and this is therefore de facto and objective anti-Americanism.
But CH doesn't stop there, he even admits that Khalidi holds "a celebrated house and position in the city [Jerusalem] since approximately the time of the Crusades. I have had the honor of being invited to this very house."
Busted! We've caught Hitchens on the record fessing up about having
been in the living room of an Anti-American radical.
CH ominously adds:
"I remember very well from meeting him in Beirut in the 1970s and '80s—when employed by regimes like the Syrian."
Hmm, we're going to have to investigate this angle of Hitchens working for the Syrians. Although I'm sure there are plenty of rubes out there who are going to start screaming "context!" at the top of their lungs. But don't let the context blind you Comrades, this was clearly a Freudian slip, at the least.
So in conclusion, I think we can all agree that these associations are raising some important questions about who Christopher Hitchens really is, and what he's really up to infiltrating America as he has done. This scandal also reminds us that we don't really know that much about him. Not many years ago he was a relatively obscure journalist and has since managed to be thrusted into the limelight. How? Merely by giving a few good speeches here and there and, let's not beat around the bush, having been born a Limey probably played no small role in it. As for his allegedly amazing speeches, be honest. What exact sentence can you quote from his latest atheist speech? I thought so. All right, what about his big debate against D'Souza? Just as I guessed. OK, help me out: Surely you can manage to cite a line or two from one his imperishable addresses on the war in Iraq? Oh, dear. Now do you see what I mean?
The simple fact is that we don't know the whole story about Hitchens, and some people are not surprisingly beginning to voice concerns over what his hidden agenda must really be. And given these disturbing associations with terrorists and anti-Americans, I think it's safe to say that this clearly reflects Hitchens' lack of any sort of patriotism. Our Popinjay is someone who sees America as imperfect enough to pal around with terrorists who targeted his own country's allies.
So, in case I've forgotten to ask, just who is Christopher Hitchens? And what plot is he secretly hatching with these terrorists he palls around with?

And in unrelated news, unless you were living under a rock for these past few months, you've no doubt heard about these rumours dogging Hitchens on the internet, and which just won't die down, about him somehow being a secret Islamic terrorist. Shocking I know, but the internet keeps buzzing about it. Don't believe me? Just take a look at
this Google search which already shows 43,400 hits alone on "Hitchens a secret Muslim terrorist."
Now, we at Hitchens Watch are naturally appalled and of course want nothing to do with this outrageous whisper campaign, but we feel compelled, in our duty as journalists, to begin constantly reporting on this unfolding story. Hitchens may not be a Muslim, well... as far as we know that is, but nevertheless it's important that we alert all and sundry about these shocking allegations.
