In the interest of satisfying our demanding Decents who require us to link to every single recording of The Great Man, I watched Our Boy on MSNBC's Hardball tonight.
Chris Matthews (Christopher to our Hitch) decided that he needed to balance Hitchens with a fellow warmonger, Peter Beinart! Hitchens indulges in a little Decent mindreading around 3 minutes in by claiming that Hillary was not bellicose enough for his liking because she felt the Bosnian situation would conflict with her "wonderful health plan." Tweety follows up by claiming that Obama doesn't like colorful staffers. Beinart quickly shoots this down by giving the example of Rahm Emanuel. Hitchens does his enfant terrible routine by alluding to the expression "better to have her inside the tent pissing out" and Matthews pipes up that he knows the expression. Hitch then indulges in a little Kissinger bashing and Peter begs him not to revisit every single scandal of the Clinton administration. The second part of this has not been posted on YouTube yet, but Hitchens did claim that the Baathists were connected to Al Qaeda (Decent goalpost moving) and that they were "dicking around with WMD privately." So private that they couldn't be found!
PS - I did record the second part with a camcorder (DVD-R is jammed) while making a few wisecracks and uploaded it to YouTube.
